1.30.12: mid century print on particle board

Paul Klee print of a couple and child snuggled in a blanket.

Paul Klee (18 December 1879 – 29 June 1940) was born in Münchenbuchsee, Switzerland, and is considered both a German and a Swiss[a] painter. His highly individual style was influenced by movements in art that included expressionismcubism, and surrealism. He was, as well, a student of orientalism.[1] Klee was a natural draftsman who experimented with and eventually mastered colour theory, and wrote extensively about it; his lectures Writings on Form and Design Theory (Schriften zur Form und Gestaltungslehre), published in English as the Paul Klee Notebooks, are considered so important for modern art that they are compared to the importance that Leonardo da Vinci's A Treatise on Painting had for Renaissance.[2][3][4] He and his colleague, the Russian painterWassily Kandinsky, both taught at the German Bauhaus school of art, design and architecture. His works reflect his dry humour and his sometimes childlike perspective, his personal moods and beliefs, and his musicality.

1.20.12: large, square mirrored coffee table with lucite base

BEAUTIFUL, show stopping coffee table.  i've never seen another one exactly like it.  the bottom photo from livingect. is the closest think i've found.  it's solid, it's in wonderful condition and looks like it's floating due to the curved lucite base.  very heavy table.  mirrored part is on top of sold wood.  i'm guessing it was made in the 60's/70's....

36"x36" square
15" tall

$450- SOLD

1.20.12: plycraft brown leather lounger and ottoman

1970's plycraft lounge chair and hard to find matching ottoman.  sold together as a pair.  chair works like a dream and feels great to sit in while reading a book or watching the tube.  few minor condition issues: previous owner must of had a cat.  top left  had side of the chair has nail pricks.  not very noticeable in person, but there.  small stain around one of the seat buttons, again, not very notable unless you're looking for it.  and last but not least, a few minor scratches on the side.  not bad for a chair around 50 years old.  price reflects condition.

$450- SOLD

1.20.12: 3 Kinetic plywood chairs

these unique chairs are rad.  made in canada by the Kinetic modern furniture company.  they remind me of tinker toys.  well made and versatile.  they can be attached together to make a three seated bench or separately as chairs.  statement makers in any room.  would be great as dining room chairs, children's room....whatever you dream up.

$300 for the set $125/piece
